Medialab Introductory Event

PLACE: Canada Room, Lanyon Building.
Colleagues are invited to a workshop about the Queen's MediaLab on Friday 21 October 2022 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. The event will include an opportunity to meet new staff in the MediaLab and provide an update on the new facilities. The workshop will seek to develop previous discussions on the Metaverse that took place at a meeting in Riddell Hall on 6 June 2022. We would also like to refine core areas of interest and to develop a roadmap to support research utilizing real-time 3D applications and game engine technology.
We are keen to include lightning talks from colleagues working in relevant areas or from colleagues whose work might benefit from the technologies and expertise in the MediaLab.
