The Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) is a community-curated online directory that indexes and provides access to high quality, open access, peer-reviewed journals.
OpenDOAR: Directory of Open Access Repositories
OpenDOAR is a quality-assured global directory of academic open access repositories. It enables the identification, browsing and search for repositories, based on a range of features, such as location, software or type of material held.
As of November 2024, Open Policy Finder (formerly Sherpa Services) combines Sherpa RoMeo, Juliet and FACT into one single platform. This platform assists researchers by providing:
- searchable publisher open access policies, self-archiving permissions and conditions of rights given to authors on a journal-by journal basis.
- up-to-date information concerning funders' policies and their requirements on open access, publication and data archiving
- tools to check open access compliance and whether journals comply with funder requirements for open access to research.
- a Transitional agreement look-up tool detailing existing transitional agreements held by institutions and journals.
