The eighth Discovery conference will take place on Friday 8th and Saturday 9th November 2024 in Queen's Univeristy Belfast and online. There will be lectures from across the archaeological community in Ulster and beyond. The conference is organised and co-hosted by the Ulster Archaeological Society and the Centre for Community Archaeology at QUB, with the commercial sector, museums, academics, societies and community groups all represented at the virtual podium.

Many thanks to those who attended the conference at the weekend. We were overwhelmed by your support and it was fantastic to see so many people from all lots of different archaeological circles in attendance.

The second Discovery! conference was held in Queen’s on Saturday 3rd November, featuring 17 lectures from across the archaeological community in Ulster – with the commercial sector, museums, academics, societies and community groups all represented at the podium. Organised by the Ulster Archaeological Society and the Centre for Community Archaeology at QUB this was a hugely successful event, with nearly double the number of participants that attended the inaugural conference last year.
