Contribution to WP 2, Centre for Public Health, Queen’s University Belfast
I am a final year PhD student in the Centre of Public Health at QUB. The aim of my research is to explore how the environment impacts our underlying biology and how this underlying biological impact or change can associate with cognition as we age.
I will be using data from the Northern Ireland Cohort for the Longitudinal Study of Ageing (NICOLA) to assess how green space exposure is associated with DNA methylation profiles and older adults cognitive outcomes.
