On 04 Oct 2025, Professor Sarah Rodgers (Professor of Health Informatics in the Department of Public Health, Policy and Systems, University of Liverpool) gave an inaugural lecture on "Making our towns and cities healthier: Connecting the dots between communities, systems and data"

The lecture demonstrated how data-driven insights and community partnerships can transform public health for the better. Sarah shared the importance of a strong team ethos in Groundswell and shared commitment to “turning research into real-world improvements for millions of people.
