The Leverhulme Interdisciplinary Network on Algorithmic Solutions (LINAS) Seminar series is student-led and organised by the doctoral scholars on the programme.

The speakers will be:

Dr Tomás McInerney Lecturer in the School of Law and a graduate of the LINCS Doctoral Training Programme (predecessor to LINAS).

Title: 'The power and politics of Large Language Model benchmarks'

Enas Abdelfatah (School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics) 2nd Year LINAS Doctoral Scholar

Title: 'AI Gatekeepers and the Politics of Security: Secrets, Races, and Regulations'

Fiona Stuart (School of Law) 2nd Year LINAS Doctoral Scholar

Title: 'Using an AI Interface to Train Police Interviews in Identifying and Adapting to Suspects with Speech, Language and Communication Needs'
