Dr Graham Brownlow Appointed as Fellow to the Royal Economic Society

Mitchell Institute Fellow Dr Graham Brownlow has been appointed as Fellow to the Royal Economic Society.

The Royal Economic Society (RES) is one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious economic associations, dedicated to advancing economics for the public good.  Through journals, conferences, events and training, they provide a platform for cutting-edge ideas that shape policy and improve understanding of the economy and society.  The Economic Journal, first published in 1891 and still one of the world’s most prestigious academic journals, is among the journals published under the auspices of the RES.

Fellowship of the Royal Economic Society provides professional recognition for those who have made a significant contribution to the discipline. Accepted Fellows are entitled to use the postnominals FREcon after their name.

Dr Graham Brownlow

Dr Graham Brownlow, FREcon is Reader in Economics at Queen’s Business School (QBS)   He is also a Research Associate of the Centre for Economics, Policy and History.  His publications have included papers in such major journal outlets as the Economic History Review, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice and Regional Studies. Graham’s research has been profiled in a number of outlets including The Wall Street Journal and The Guardian.
