Northern Ireland Public Data Panel

Join in the conversation between individuals and communities in Northern Ireland about data. The Northern Ireland Public Data Panel (NIPDP) aims to discuss, under a range of topics, how our data in Northern Ireland is or could be used for public good. Panel members will:

  • Explore our understanding of how data is collected and used in Northern Ireland
  • Advise on how public trust, transparency and acceptance in the use of data can be supported
  • Discuss the meaning and evidencing of public benefit in data use
  • Members will also be co-developing the panel and its work, and advocating for its use.

Induction Day

Our recruitment process has successfully concluded and we are excited to now have 20 panel members. An induction day will take place on Saturday, 19th October, providing the new members with an introduction to their roles and the panel’s objectives. This session will outline their responsibilities and expectations whilst also offering an open forum for any questions they may have regarding their involvement.
