Overview of this session
The UK has a thriving research and innovation sector that attracts investment from across the world. Trusted Research aims to secure the integrity of the system of international research collaboration, which is vital to the continued success of the UK’s research and innovation sector. Trusted Research enables researchers, UK universities and industry to have confidence in international collaboration and make informed decisions regarding potential risks.
The intention of this session is to raise awareness around this government and funder agenda including related items such as Export Control and provide guidance as to the resources available for assistance.

The 'Postdoc Life' series
The 'Postdoc Life' series of information sessions aims at highlighting some of the internal and sector developments and initiatives to postdocs and research staff, in order to help them better understand and navigate their direct (Queen's) and wider (UK Research and Innovation sector) environment.
Sessions will be organised approximately once per month, and future topics will include open research, narrative CVs, quality outputs and citations etc.
All postdocs and research staff can suggest future topics by contacting the PDC (pdc@qub.ac.uk).

Dr Noleen Morgan
Dr Noleen Morgan is a member of the Research Governance, Ethics and Integrity Team within the Research & Enterprise Directorate at Queen's University Belfast.
Noleen is the Global Compliance Officer whose work focuses on a number of funder and governmental compliance issues including such matters as Nagoya Protocol, Trusted Research and Export Control etc.
