- Our student Mr Ruihan Yao won the Bronze Best Student Paper Award at the 6th IFToMM Symposium on Mechanism Design for Robotics on 27-29 June 2024 at Timisoara, Romania.
- Our paper was elected as the best paper presented at the International Conference on Design and Concurrent Engineering & Manufacturing Systems at Keio University, Japan on 1st – 2nd September 2023 which was hosted by the Japan Society for Mechanical Engineers (JSME).
- Our PhD student Jia Ge has recently won the prestigious IET Postgraduate Research Award after a rigorous application and interview process, along with 5 other awardees from world top universities such as Stanford and Cambridge. His research addresses the urgent needs of decarbonising the aerospace industry through enhanced manufacturing efficiency and use of sustainable materials. - Best Paper Presented by a Young Researcher, 2nd Classified, 2021 IEEE International Workshop on Metrology for AeroSpace, Virtual Conference, June 22-25, 2021.
- A. T. Yang Memorial Award in Theoretical Kinematics, the highest and very prestigious award in the world of kinematics. The award is given to us based on our paper titled "Kinematic Analysis of the Exechon Robot Accounting Offsets in the Joint Axes", which was presented in the ASME 2019 International Design Engineering Technical Conferences & Computers and Information in Engineering Conference (IDETC/CIE 2019) on 18-21 August 2019 at Anaheim, CA, USA.
