We are excited to invite you to our Wheel and Walkshop, a free public event open to all ages and abilities, including those facing mobility barriers who have never used the Greenway before.

In conjunction with our partners East Side Greenways and Studio Idir, we are excited to invite you to our Wheel and Walkshop which will be held on the 22nd and 23rd of March 2024 along the length of the Connswater Community Greenway. Everyone of all ages and abilities is welcome, including those facing mobility barriers who have never used the Greenway before.
We have created a timeline of when we will depart from different sections of the Greenway and would like to invite you to join us for one (or more) of these sections so we can chat to you and get your feedback and ideas on the accessibility and inclusion of the Greenway. Alternatively, you may prefer to join us at one of our rest stops where we will have seats, refreshments and shelter, and our partners and members of our team will be there with information and can chat to you while you sit down. You will have the opportunity, if you would like, to be able to take part in litter picking, graffiti cleaning and engagement activities along any section of the workshop. All equipment and a safety briefing will be provided before you begin.

We would love to facilitate anyone to be able to join us along any section of the workshop of their choosing. With advance warning, we can provide, through our friends at Disability Sport NI, various aids such as wheelchairs and walking poles to assist you. Please see the website for more information.
