On 7 March 2024 the Mitchell Institute was delighted to welcome a visiting group of students from Boston College, as part of the BC Presidential Scholars' 2024 visit to Ireland.  Institute Fellow Dr Cheryl Lawther spoke to the students about 'Victims and Dealing with the Legacy of the Northern Ireland Conflict'; Institute Fellow Professor Cathal McCall spoke to them about 'Ireland, the Border and Brexit'; and Institute Director Professor Richard English spoke about 'Political Violence and Northern Ireland'.
