Data Dialogue: June 2025

The Panel were introduced to the topics ‘Using data to measure and map poverty in Northern Ireland and food insecurity’ by two expert presenters. The first  presenter introduced, the ‘multidimensional aspect of poverty, the data landscape in Northern Ireland’ and ‘how administrative data is being used to study poverty around the world’. The second presenter introduced the use of ‘secondary data to map food poverty in Northern Ireland’.

Throughout the presentations the Panel were encouraged to ask questions and to share their reflections, including their initial thoughts and feelings around what was being shared, and any ideas about how they would like to see data used.
